Nancy Baumann & Claire Alexander

There's no doubt - these two women are very impressive and professional. For a long time they work with DJ BoBo and we always see them on stage with him. They dance like Goddesses and now we don't imagine BoBo without Nancy Baumann and Claire Alexander. And of course we admire the way they sing... always changing their voice when it needed. It seemed weird but we just considered them talented singers. Definitely they are and also they are perfect actresses too! There's no secret any more that they don't sing live using the phonogram of original female vocalists... Why? DJ BoBo says that people want to hear original female vocals on stage, that's the reason why we see one people and hear another people. In this case BoBo had a lot of problems with original female vocalist who were against of using their phonogram without their presence on stage. Anyway Nancy sang live in "Magic Tour" ("Let The Dream Come True", "Shadows Of The Night" etc.), "Mystasia Tour" ("Shadows Of The Night") and "Visions Show" ("What A Feeling"). But still we don't know who are that women whose voice we hear on our CDs. I guess it's time to found out...

"Where Is Your Love" (2002)

On February 5, 2001 the No Angels released their debut single "Daylight (In Your Eyes)" in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The song entered the charts at number 1 on the German singles chart and stayed there for six weeks, simultaneously reaching the top of the Austrian, and Swiss airplay and singles charts. The song also proved to be a hit outside the German speaking countries (Brazil, Luxembourg, France, the UK, Poland, Bulgaria).
In March 2001, the band released their debut album, "Elle'ments" in Europe. In total, the album sold over 2 million copies worldwide. The rest singles from this album were as successful as their first debut.
In June 2002, the No Angels released their second studio album, "Now ... Us"! The album went on to sell over 1,2 million copies. Though the album's sales couldn't link on the unexpected success of "Elle'ments" the band remained the biggest selling European girl group of 2002.
Soon after the girls experienced a bit of turbulence when Jessica Wahls announced she was taking a break from the band to give birth to her first child. Although the girls had agreed upon Jessica's return the following year, Wahls' decided not to return to the band after her daughter's birth in March 2003, and instead started pursuing a solo career.
The four remaining girls released a new single "No Angel (It's All In Your Mind)" which again became a smash around Europe. They released their third album "Pure" and the second single the Spanish-lite "Someday" that topped charts across Europe and became a summer theme. The third single "Feelgood Lies" was released in late 2003, a few days after the girls had announced their split.
The No Angels each went their separate ways after that, some going for motherhood and others a solo career. Since then the girls have made very different statements about a possible reunion of the group. Especially Jessica expressed interest in a new CD, whereas Lucy and Vanessa denied new common projects vehemently ...

Other facts: No Angels are one of the most successful bands developed from any version of the show (the still-together pop girl group Girls Aloud arguably being most successful). All successors in similar shows in Germany were less successful.
