Biography

         "Planet Colors Tour" Quiz

How long have you been with the crew?
I've been a part of the DJ BoBo crew since January 1995.

What's funkiest about the BoBo-crew?
Everything. We're a great team and a real family - and that's what it's all about.

What's your favorite song/dance sequence?
It changes from album to album as I always prefer what's new. Right now it's "Colors of Life" - the song and the choreography.

Did you get any training?
My original job was wholesaler. That wasn't exactly what I really wanted. I underwent a musical training including singing lessons, dancing courses and everything else you need for being on stage. And since then I've done what I really wanted to do - even if some people didn't like that, e.g. my Daddy - anyway, he accepted my decision.

What's your main job in the BoBo-crew?
My main job is to perform on stage as well as possible and that's what I love most. Then, of course, the costumes, organization, coordination of the show, book-keeping maid-of-all-work.

Have you been on stage with other stars?
I had several solo projects in the past. A long long time ago - I hardly can remember - I performed in a band called "Final Affair". It was a nice experience but we weren't really successful. However, it was very funny and I learnt a lot during this time. I had a lot of success with my next band called "3-O-Matic". Later on we continued with a new name "2 For Good" which was followed by "Enflame". After that I said to myself: been there, done that. So I made the decision to concentrate on BoBo.

Your most wonderful/embarrassing experience?
It seems that every day new day brings about a new best experience. Simply to be there and to see the happy faces of the people. That's the most beautiful thing. The most embarrassing moment was when BoBo fell off the stage during a show. And I just stood there watching and did absolutely nothing to help him. We were just laughing. That was so embarrassing. He, however, forgave us.
